Waveflex™ technology for prong stability and easier readjustment – The Optiflow Junior 2 cannula uses Waveflex technology to allow for natural facial movement when a patient’s cheeks are compressed. This improves prong stability in the nostrils.

Optiflow Junior 2 uses FlexiTube to minimize condensate build-up -The FlexiTube is made with a breathable material to reduce condensate build-up by allowing water vapor to diffuse through the membrane to the outside of the tubing.

The new AirSpiral heated breathing tube for AIRVO 2 utilizes an advanced two-spiral design to help protect against condensate

The heating spiral contains heater wire to warm the breathing gas inside the tube. The insulating spiral uses a bubble of warmed air around the breathing gas to shield it from the outside environment. Like a double-paned window, the inside and outside surfaces of the tube are physically separated, to reduce cooling and helps maximize the level of humidity remaining in the gas all the way to the patient.

The Neopuff is a T-piece resuscitator designed by Fisher & Paykel Healthcare to deliver controlled, consistent, and precise pressures – independent of operator experience.

It can provide assisted respiratory breaths to neonates and infants (up to 10 kg) in the delivery room or neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Neopuff product features

The Neopuff can deliver oxygen levels ranging from 21% through to 100%, from a flow meter or blender. The resuscitator has a PIP control, as well as a maximum pressure relief valve that prevents the accidental delivery of excessively high pressures.The Neopuff features an accurate, easy-to-read, medical quality manometer, and can be mounted on a pole, rail, wall, infant warmer, or incubator.

The Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Bubble CPAP generator is designed to provide consistent pressure through an auto-leveling feature. This design moves excess liquid into a separate chamber from the main pressure-generating section, automatically ensuring that the set pressure does not change with liquid build-up.

The bubble generator includes an overflow container that can be detached to remove excess water from the system, without disrupting delivery therapy.

Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy delivers a heated and humidified blend of air and oxygen while at the same time generating a continuous distending pressure throughout the respiratory cycle. Fisher & Paykel Healthcare offers a system including circuits, a pressure relief manifold, and Bubble CPAP generator.

EVAQUA technology allows water vapor to diffuse out through the expiratory limb wall before it has an opportunity to condense into liquid water within the circuit limb or the ventilator. The result is an easy-to-use circuit which promotes a closed system and can reduce clinician intervention.

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare produces a range of masks to supply humidified gas during noninvasive therapies. The complete range is compatible with all humidifiers produced by Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. The masks are designed with patient comfort in mind, while ensuring delivery of the desired gas flow and pressure levels determined by the therapy.

Designed for noninvasive ventilation, the FreeMotion™ mask range includes both vented and nonvented full face masks, as well as a vented nasal mask. All four masks are designed to maximize patient tolerance to treatment through superior comfort and performance.

The FreeMotion full face masks incorporate a seal that fits under the chin, accommodating a far greater range of face shapes and sizes compared with the traditional under lip seals. The under-chin design aims to maintain the integrity of the seal at all times

The RT040 range of vented full face masks incorporates 15 small vent holes at the bridge of the nose. These vents provide better elimination of CO2 from the mask, while being significantly quieter than a single-port vent.
